A Child Abandoned

Conceived out of lust. Born only to turn to dust. Helplessly crying before a stranger's door. Who her parents were they'll never discuss. But leave her to wonder forevermore.

Perhaps it'll be better that way for the truth brings only dismay. To the child she wrongly abandoned. Only to be loved again each day. By the strangers who took her in.

From candle to candle. With care they watched her grow; Her first step they watched her take, hear her first words. Her first castle they watched her make.

Raised in love raised in kindness, surrounded with joy and happiness, warmly embraced in a stranger's home; Mother Father-- she calls in blis. Her only parents she had ever known.
